Ranch

The owners of the ranch have known and loved this marvelous farmland and the surrounding country since the 1980’s and has chosen this particular place for their families to have a rest.
The Ranch Building began in 1999 and when we, El Bronco Ltd, took over the investment, we extended the ranch by joining two other neighboring farms lying next to us in the ’Kiskunsági’ National Park.

By rebuilding an outhouse we now had a stall of four boxes, then our first priority was establishing a round-shaped corral (paddock) and grazing grounds to be able to ensure proper conditions for the horses stabled at our ranch.

The unique beauty of the scenery, a hilly country of virgin nature; the sandy ground, and the almost never-ending trail-riding possibilities soon became very popular with our friends, so the stall and the grazing grounds were filled up in a short period of time. Since then we have been expanding and buying the territories surrounding the ranch which are covered with forests and bushy grazing grounds.

With the support of instructors from abroad and visiting raining shows we started to learn the fundamentals of western horse-riding. We bought our first appaloosas and quarterhorses in 2005, which helped us to get to know the beautiful world of conscious Western sport horse-riding, and on which we have based our breed. Our horses could immediately take their places in the stalls and in our other establishments that are special designed to meet the needs and demands of our horses and to keep them safe.

Since 2005 we have organized child-camps, courses for beginners and intermediate riders, and taking style and level of skills into consideration we instruct the fundamentals of reining horse-riding.

The ranch lies on 60 acres of contiguous territory on which 7 corrals that take up 20 acres of grazing land, ensures the well-being of horses in the summertime. During the winter months we use our 16-acres winter pastures that have sandy ground and are varied with bushy forest.

Horse-riding can take place on our 60x30 meter reining-course with slag-sandy ground or in the 35x70 meter reining-course with clay-sandy ground. We have two corrals, one 22-meter-diameter covered corral (paddock) and an 18-meter-diameter round shaped corral. Also available is our 22x44 meter covered riding hall in which we can continue work undisturbed in case of bad weather.

In our stable complex you will find 12 English boxes, a hoof-wash, a laboratory, a smithy and a saddlery. On the ground floor of the central building there is a conference hall, some changing rooms, showers and a infra sauna; and in the loft you can find a 3-bedroom boarding house with its own kitchen and relaxation area.

Our guests are also welcome to two other boarding houses in case they wish to stay for the night.

The main purpose for our ranch is breeding and training quarter and appaloosa horses, saddle-breaking them either as hobby-horses, or as show-horses; instructing riders from beginners to preparing them for shows.
