Since 2005 we have organized camps for children, courses for beginner and intermediate riders; taking style and level of skills into consideration – instructing the fundamentals of reining horse-riding.
Rider CampYou are welcome to join our riding camp in the territory of ’Kiskunsági’ National Park. It does not matter if you cannot ride a horse; we guarantee you will learn it. Attention! We do not instruct with rein. That is if you join us, you simply sit up on the horse in the saddle and learn how to control the horse.
You are going to learn riding around a barrel and slalom. Depending on your endurance and readiness to learn, you can perform the show we prepare for the parents on Saturday at a gallop.
Recommended age group: 6-18 years
Living-in-camp, 7 days / 6 nights
Meals: full board (of course you may take along some of your favorite soft drink)
Accommodation: 5 pieces of Indian tents, suitable for 5 persons + 1 room for 8 persons upstairs in the ’big house’
Arrival: at 12 o’clock on Sunday
Number of children: maximum 15 persons
It is a real horse riding camp for horse fans.
There is no riding session with rein! Children ride western horses. As it is said: western riding is the art of control. Children learn to communicate with horses, and the ability to decide whether a horse is suitable for them or not, once they sat on it. Children learn bravery and self-consciousness.
They get to know the horse-riding gear and grooming of horses. It is very important that in the camp stall cleaning is not compulsory! We believe, if a kid takes fancy to the horse he/she is riding, there is no need to ask him/her to look after it. The daily program includes 2 hours of horse-riding.
On Saturday there is a 90-minute-presentation for the parents showing all the things we learnt during the week.
In the camp, beside horse-riding, we have sessions of arts, search for treasure and go and see how a bird gets a ringed. Hopefully we will have a chance to stroke colts out on the pasture every day.
At the end of the camp everybody gets a certificate and can take home all the wonderful things we made at the sessions of arts.
To participate in the camp you need a medical certificate!
I expect you to join us: Roland Galambos.

Camp with DogsRecommended age group: 6-18 years
Living-in-camp, 7 days / 6 nights
Meals: full board
Accommodation: 5 pieces of Indian tents, suitable for 5 persons + 1 room for 8 persons
Arrival: at 12 o’clock on Sunday
Number of children: maximum 15 persons
The camp: a lot of kids have dogs at home but unfortunately there are not many camps where dogs are welcome-This is why it is especially good that HERE DOGS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO COME ALONG!
In the camp a dog trainer helps you to teach your dog how to obey. You learn how to pay attention to each other, and how to notice what your dog is trying to tell you. We talk about illnesses a dog can have, and their symptoms. We get some help with dog food and learn what is good for a dog, and why. There will be dog cosmetics, a talent contest, contest of skills, and a search for treasure. Dogs are going to be kept in mobile boxes when we go to the beach, or have meals. We are going on excursions and have a lot of fun.
On Saturday we prepare an hour show for the parents of the things we have learnt in the camp. At the end of the camp both the dog owners and the dogs get a certificate.
We expect your application in e-mail. The address is: elbroncotabor@gmail.com
In the mail please inform us about your: NAME, AGE, ADDRESS, perhaps your PHONE NUMBER, WHICH CAMP YOU CHOSE, WHICH WEEK YOU WANT TO COME. (You can give us more camps and dates, of course)
In a reply letter we will give you the number of the bank account to which we expect the participation fee. As soon as the fee is paid to our bank account, your registration changes its status to ’paid registration’. For a week’s camp we can accept 15 registrations. As soon as we have 15 paid registrations for a camp, we cannot accept any more. On the first and last two days of the camp the photographer of the ranch is also available, so the photos taken on those three days can be ordered either on the spot or later on the internet.
