Lovers of nature can walk around the most beautiful parts of ’Kiskunsági’ National Park, which you can reach most easily by following the ’National Yellow Tour Path’ that can be found in front of the ranch. After about a 10-minute-walk you can reach Lake Kolon, a part of which belongs to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. Following the so called ’educational path’ along the shore, you can observe the flora and fauna characteristic to the park; or during a short walk you may admire the beauty of nature in perfect silence.

Lovers of birds may join the team of the birdwatchers’ base which works here and you can participate in bird watching and ringing of birds.

Next to the ranch you can find a reservation called Bikatorok (Bull’s throat) where there is an original juniper plantation on the sand dunes which is unforgettable scenery for the visitors.

In a 5-minute-drive from the ranch you can find the Schnaps (Hungarian Brandy) Museum of Izsák, and the Museum of Local History. In Soltszentimre there is an art relic from the Arpadian age (897-1301) the so called ’Csonkatorony’ (The Ruined Tower) – the heritage of our ancestors.

After a 20-minute-drive you can reach the spa bath called ’Ballószögi’, or the town of Kiskőrös with its wines and spa bath. Not far from the ranch you can find several restaurants with great cuisine where you may taste the classics of Hungarian cuisine and the meals characteristic to the region.
